Currently {November 2015}

Another month has gone by. Where does the time go?? I CANNOT believe it's November and my babies are almost one and a half! We've been busy lately... just got back from our Disneyland trip. More on that later...

But first... I'm linking up with Farley at for my November Currently!

Listening: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Adele. And her new single is no exception. If you haven't heard it yet, go listen right now. So good!

Loving: As much as I love sunny, warm weather. I'm definitely ready for fall. We love to talk walks after breakfast, and man that 80+ degree was killing me. Looking forward to longer, cooler walks with my boys.

Thinking: Call me crazy, but I LOVE Disneyland. I was so excited to take my boys for the first time. Everyone told me taking 17 month old twins was crazy, but I didn't listen. I had so much fun. The boys had fun too, except when mama took them on rides. They didn't love that so much. But no biggy, I'm already planning our next trip! Don't worry we're waiting until Spring 2017!

Wanting: I know I'm not the only mama who doesn't love wearing her pre-pregnancy pants. So not flattering. Even though I've lost most of the weight {nursing twins for the win}, I'm just not the same shape anymore. So I've decided its time for a change!

Needing: Umm. So much organizing to do. Seriously, as soon as I think I get a system down I realize it's too much work to maintain. My office/craft space and the play area are out of control right now! I seriously just had to dig out the laptop. It was drowning in the remnants of my last sewing project.

Yummy: Pumpkin Chai Lattes will change your life. Their even better when you can make them at home. Chai tea + pumpkin ginger tea+ milk+ sweetener of choice= bliss. So yummy!!

Listening/Loving: Fall weather is finally here!! There was totally wet stuff falling from the sky today. That NEVER happens here. Like seriously though, I live in the desert, we get about 3 inches a YEAR. Our periods of heavy rain yesterday, left us with .13" inches of precipitation. My hubby laughed out loud, when he saw that on the news. Such a teeny, tiny amount!

Thinking: I'd better start on the boys Halloween costumes. Except I have NO idea what they should be. Any one have any cute ideas for 1 year old twin boys??

Wanting: Umm...hello. It's not fall until you've indulged in a Pumpkin Spice Latte. I need one. Or maybe even a Pumpkin Chai Latte. Or both. Seriously though, If you love a PSL and you love chai, you MUST try a chai latte with a pump of pumpkin. Life changing. My bestie introduced me to the magic that is Pumpkin Chai. She knows what's up.

Needing: Vacuuming, it's so overrated. And if your one, it's also completely terrifying. Just the sight of the vacuum has poor Mr. Gummy Bear is tears. Crocodile tears. Complete with cowering in the corner. Breaks my heart. But hey, it's an excellent excuse for putting of vacuuming. Am I right?

Boo-tiful: One of my favorite things about teaching was watching students have light bulb moments. The expression of pure joy when something they were working hard on finally clicked was priceless. I LOVE watching it happen to my boys. They are loving exploring and trying new things. Current favorite is playing with a large rubber ball. They love experimenting with how it can move- rolling, pushing, bouncing, throwing... Their faces are priceless. It's BOO-tiful for sure!

to tell you what I'm up to now: 

Listening: The sweet sound of the ocean waves are lulling my babies to sleep. Gotta love some white noise and nap time! I have always found the sound of the ocean relaxing. :)

Loving: Can you believe Fall is just around the corner. Umm, yeah. I love me some Fall. Decorating. Cooler weather. Great food. Holidays. Pumpkin EVERYTHING. Sweaters. Seriously, what's not to love? 

Thinking: And speaking of Fall, it's time to decorate. I LOVE my fall decorations, almost as much as I love my Christmas decorations. Yep, time to break them out!

Wanting: I love fall outfits. And I've got a few gift cards burning holes in my pockets. time to break them out!

Needing: It's time for some deep cleaning. And some laundry folding...that mile high pile on the couch is calling my name. 

3 goals: 1. Finish my tpt unit, I have a huge Math unit I've been working on for a while, time to get 'er done! 2. My teacher friends and I promised we'd hang out once they had a few weeks under their belts. I can't wait to hear what's going on in their classes. I miss it! 3. My office/craft room/guest room/storage room is jam packed and in need of some loving. I've been meaning to give it some love for a while now. It's time to make it a priority!

Listening: Umm. Can I just say toddler laughs are the cutest, especially when they're cracking each other up. Oh my word! Times like these make all the hard work of having and raising twins WORTH it!! Excuse me while I join in...

Loving: I'm definitely missing the classroom again this year, but by reading all the back to school posts I can live vicariously through my favorite bloggers. There are some seriously good ideas that I'm pinning away for when I return to the classroom.

Thinking: Like I said, I'm seriously missing the classroom. But I also LOVE staying home with my boys. This teacher-mama is torn, guys! But babies are only babies for so long, so I'm gonna soak up every minute while I can. The classroom will have to wait a bit longer...

Wanting: A genuine, authentic vacation. Maybe the beach, or even Disneyland! Haha totally opposite ends of the relaxation spectrum, but that's how I roll. Love me some Disney! But it's been WAY TO LONG since we took a legit vacation.

Needing: Pretty sure my to do list is a mile long, guys. Like for real. I don't even know where to start. Now that we get good long naps I've got the time. But man has that list piled up!

B2S RAK: So even though I'm taking the year off for the second year in a row, I'm going back for a visit during teacher prep week. I'm totally bringing them some goodies. And I'm certain my little sidekicks will brighten they're day as well. :)

Sorry for the hiatus from blogging. These first few weeks have been kicking my butt! Between the back to school madness and tons of doctors appointments, I've been totally overwhelmed. I'll be back soon with some more teaching tips, but for now I'm linking up with Oh Boy 4th Grade! Here's my currently for September. BTW where the heck did August go??
